Lucy and Ethel Woodward are beloved pets – and the Gallery’s special greeting committee! They are Chinese Shar-Pei sisters. Their pedigree mother Vantage is a retired, winning show dog.
Lucy was born on December 6th 2004; and her baby sister Ethel arrived from their mom’s next litter on November 14th 2006.
When Lucy passed away on June 16, 2012, Baby Blue Betty joined the Gallery's greeting team and Woodward family. Lucy's memory lives on….
Born in Maine on May 16, 2012, Betty is a rare, blue, female Shar Pei. She too comes from a line of pedigree, award winning parents.
Lucy and Ethel were the local neighborhood mascots, having been photographed for international magazine articles, album covers, The Daily Dog, The New York Sun— as well as by countless visitors. Our new gallery girl, Betty, has quickly followed in her sisters' paws to become a star attraction with photos, blogs and a Facebook page dedicated to her!
