Artist Review Criteria
Thank you for your interest in Woodward Gallery!
We represent contemporary artists working in oil painting, drawing, collage and sculpture. We generally do not exhibit photography, installation pieces, or media art.
Although we are not actively seeking new contemporary artists, all work is reviewed by Director John Woodward. We examine artwork through printed reproductions only. We do not consider art from slides, websites, or CD's of images. Please do not bring in original works of art during the session.
Accepted from March 1- March 31st 2012 ONLY, submissions should include the following:
• Cover letter
• Biography
• Self-addressed-stamped-envelope with adequate pre-paid postage for return of materials
Please note that the Gallery will not return submissions without a self-addressed-stamped envelope.
You are also welcome to include reviews, announcements, and other written materials which discuss your work.
After we have had the opportunity to process your materials, we will either return your package with a letter from the Director or contact you to arrange an appointment.Due to the large volume of submissions we receive, the review process may up to a year. During this time, your patience is most appreciated...
